Lesson Plan

Lesson Plan

Young voters are the future of our democracy, and we’re here to help you empower the students in your community with the knowledge and tools to make their voices heard.

We’re thrilled to share this free, nonpartisan lesson plan as inspiration for how you can talk to your high school students about the importance of voting and help them make their plans for casting their ballot using our high school student voter tool. On this page, you’ll find our lesson plan and supplemental materials to make it easy for you to bring a fun and impactful Vote Early Day celebration into your classroom.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@voteearlyday.org with any questions or feedback.

Access the lesson plan as a Google document that you can copy and edit here.

If you have encountered a problem with voting, please call this national nonpartisan hotline: 866-OUR-VOTE.
