Absentee Voting Criteria

You may vote by absentee ballot in Massachusetts if:

  • You will be away from your city/town on Election Day.
  • You have a disability that keeps them from voting at your polling place.
  • You have a religious belief that prevents you from voting at your polling place on Election Day.
